I have been doing jigsaw puzzles for a long time and what I have always wanted is a board that I can put my puzzle together on while sitting on the couch.

I came across several ideas for homemade puzzle boards but many were too complicated for what I wanted. What I created is simple. Right now I am working on a 750 piece puzzle and the size of the board is working perfectly. Lots of extra room to allow for a 1000 piece puzzle later on.

Here’s what you will need:

Cork Board – I purchased a Medium sized one at a local store. The dimensions of the one I bought is 60x80cm (23.6″x31.5″)

Paint Brush and Paint Tray – Had this laying around but could easily get at a dollar store

Paint – I used leftover Acrylic Paint that I had laying around

That’s it! I painted the trim one colour and the cork another colour just for fun.
